General Features

Infoflex®, a complete 4GL, saves coding drudgery with its many built-in features. Unlike other 4GL's, Infoflex streamlines the design process with a consistent WYSIWYG approach to developing menus screens and reports. Infoflex provides 4GL functionality within a well integrated "c" environment. This unique high-low approach gives you the flexibility of "c" with all the power of 4GL. Infoflex is similar in syntax to Informix. It is also compatible with C-Isam, D-Isam, Netisam, MF Cobol or Integra, and supports LINUX, UNIX, or VMS.

SCREEN Code Sample

SCREENFLEX, one component of Infoflex, provides an ability to develop screens by painting their image in an editor of your choice (syntax is similar to Informix's Perform). Features include scrolling and updating multi-record arrays, and on-line help information from field level on up.

REPORT Code Sample

REPORTFLEX, another component of Infoflex, lets you develop reports by painting their image in an editor of your choice (syntax is similar to Informix's Perform). Features include a query screen for intelligently selecting report data, an on-screen report viewer, and runtime options to route reports to to any device.

  • Maintenance: 15% per year of current list price thereafter

  • Porting: We will consider porting INFOFLEX to any machine or low level ISAM file manager (i.e., CTREE, BTREE, etc.)

  1. Runtime license: includes the right to use the machine executable version of the programs (with the exception of the SQL preprocessor) on one designated CPU. A Developer License must be purchased in order to distribute Runtime Licenses. There is no user limit on this license.

  2. Developer License: includes (1) above, plus "c" Libraries and Pre-processor. ,There is no limit on this license.

  3. Source License: includes "c" source code. Source code is the same for all operating system platforms.
